Only one set of connections needs to be made to Digital VCR. For instance, if you connect an
antenna, cable, or satellite TV signal with a coaxial cable to Digital VCR RF/Tuner input, you
would not need to make any other audio or video connections. If you connect a Cable or Satel-
lite box using the S-Video input on the Digital VCR card, you would also need to connect the
audio signals coming from the Cable or Satellite box, but would not need to connect anything
to the coaxial input.

Follow the instructions in this section that pertain to your specific type of television signal. See
Diagram 1 above for a close-up of the Digital VCR connectors.
Antenna
If you use a rooftop antenna or “rabbit ears” set-top antenna, connect its coaxial cable to the

on the Digital VCR card. If your antenna is not fitted with a coaxial con-
nector, you will have to use an adapter (available separately) to connect the antenna signal to
the Digital VCR card.
