Setting the Output Directory
The Output Directory field shows the folder where the converted files will be stored. The direc-
tory setting can also be saved as a preference. Each time the File Exporter is run, the default
output directory is selected.
To choose an output directory:
1. Click the
%URZVH
button.
2. Navigate the directory tree and select a folder where converted files should be stored.
3. Click the
2.
button.
4. You are returned to the main File Exporter window.
5. The path to your output folder is shown in the
2XWSXW'LUHFWRU\
field.
Converting the Files
To begin the conversion process, click the
&RQYHUW
button. A progress bar is displayed for
each file to be converted in your Source list.
To abort the conversion, click the
&DQFHO
button.
Preferences
This page allows you to set a default output file size and a default output directory. The default
files size is useful when making multiple backups to the same size media, such as CD-R.
To set an output file size, simply select a media size from the list. If your media is not listed,
enter the desired output file size in the
2WKHU6L]H
text box.
To select a default output folder, type in a path in the text box or click the
%URZVH
button.
When you click the
%URZVH
button, a standard Windows navigation window will open. Select
your output folder and click

When you are finished setting preferences, click the
2.
button to continue. You are returned to
the main page of the File Exporter.
