The Custom Recording Quality Settings
Each of the Custom Recording rate settings is described below:
9LGHR&RPSUHVVLRQ
- the range is from 1.0 MBits/sec to 8.0 MBits/sec in 0.1 units. Higher val-
ues require more computing power and provide a better picture.
5HVROXWLRQ
- 640 x 480, 320 x 480, and 480 x 480 lines of resolution; 640 x 480 is the best
quality.
$XGLR6DPSOLQJ5DWH
- 32 kHz (samples recorded per second, in thousands).
$XGLR&RPSUHVVLRQ
- the available settings are: off, 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 224, 256, 320, and
384 Kbits/sec. Higher values indicate better audio quality. Setting Audio Compression to “off”
records audio at full bandwidth. This requires the most computing power.
To change a setting:
1. Scroll with the up/down arrows to select a field.
2. Use the left/right arrows to change the selected parameter.
3. Press the
