Specify the binding margin.
[Binding Edge]
Specify the binding edge.
Width
Enter the width using [ ], [ ], or the numeric keys.
[Auto Reduction]
Set this option to [ON] to automatically reduce the image
size to fit the image on the paper when part of the printing
area is missing due to the binding margin setting.

Touch [Binding Margin].
The [Binding Margin] screen is displayed.

• Specify [Binding Edge].
• Enter the width using [
], [ ], or the numeric
keys.
• If part of the printing area is missing due to the
binding margin setting, set [Auto Reduction] to
[ON].

Touch [OK].
If you are using the optional face down finisher, the
staple function and the binding margin function are
available.
For more information, see "Staple" (p. 8-6) in
"Optional Equipment".
This option slows down the printing speed as well
as reduces the operating sound of the job being
processed.

The [Slow Printing] screen is displayed.

If you are using the optional stacking tray, the
[Output Tray] option is available.

tray, the [Output Tray Relay] option is available.

(p. 8-11) in "Optional Equipment".
Use this option to automatically feed paper from a
different tray with the same paper size and paper type
when the selected tray runs out of paper.

Touch [Paper Tray Relay].
The [Paper Tray Relay] screen is displayed.

Touch [OK].
This rotates the image 90 degrees automatically
when the orientations of the original and paper do
not match, even if the paper size loaded in the tray
matches the size of the loaded original. Normally,
this setting is set to [ON].
