ComColor FW Series User’s Guide
This function makes the background color (base
color) lighter so that the text is easier to read when
copying text originals with a background color or
originals printed on colored paper.

The higher the value, the more the background color
level is reduced.

The density of the background color is set automatically.

Touch [Base Color Level].
The [Base Color Level] screen is displayed.

This function adjusts the printing position of
images.
[Front Side], [Back Side]
Select which side to adjust the image position for.
[Reset]
Select this option to return the adjusted value for the
selected side (front or back side) to 0 mm.

The [Image Position] screen is displayed.

adjust the image position.

This option is convenient when the number of
required copies varies by group (such as corporate
division or classes).
You can program settings for the number of copies
and sets, sorting, slip sheets, and other options for
each group. This enables you to quickly print
exactly the number of copies of the number of sets
you need.

Examples of Entering the Number of
Copies and Sets
• You can enter up to 9,999 copies and up to 99 sets.
For example, to distribute a leaflet to the parents of all
first-grade students in school, you can use the [Program]
function to print the necessary number of copies for each
class with a single copy job.
To print the leaflets by group, configure the settings as
follows.
Base Color Level
Image Position
• You can adjust the printing position a maximum
of ± 20 mm (13/16") up, down, left, or right, in
increments of 0.1 mm (0.004").
• When performing duplex printing, the front and
back sides can be adjusted separately.
Program
• This option cannot be used with the [Sort] or
[Separation] function. (p. 1-10 "Sort", p. 1-21
"Separation")
• You can configure up to 60 groups.
