5. Bedienung
5.1 Bürstaggregat betätigen (Bild 13)
Absenken = Fußpedal (31) durch Fußdruck und
leichte Linksbewegung mit der Fusßspitze ent-
riegeln. Fußpedal entlasten.
Anheben = Fußpedal (31) hinunterdrücken bis
die Arretierung einrastet.
Der Bürstdruck kann mit dem Hebel (30) drei-
stufig verstellt werden.
A = stark, B = mittel, C = schwach.
Bei einer Drehung nach links, wird der Auto-
mat weiter nach rechts ziehen.
Bei einer Drehung nach rechts, wird der Auto-
mat weiter nach links ziehen.
Automaten ohne eigenen Fahrantrieb verfügen
über weitere Funktionen der Verstellung des
Bürstaggregates.
Über den Sterngriff (33) kann die Horizontal-
neigung des Bürstaggregats verändert werden.
Der Sterngriff (48) für die vertikale Einstellung
befindet sich auf der linken Seite des Atomaten
unterhalb des Tanks, zwischen Rad und Bürst-
aggregat (Bild 11).
Bei richtig eingestelltem Bürstaggregat, um
max. Eigenvortrieb des Automaten zu erzielen,
sollte das Bürstbild etwa so aussehen wie auf
Bild 12 dargestellt.
Bei einer Drehung nach rechts wird der Vor-
trieb stärker.
Bei einer Drehung nach links wird der Vortrieb
schwächer.

5. Operation
5.1 Operating the brush assembly (fig. 13)
Lowering = release foot pedal (31) with foot
pressure and slight movement to the left with
the point of the foot. Release foot pedal.
Raising = push foot pedal (31) downwards until
the locking mechanism engages.
The pressure of the brush can be adjusted in
three steps with the lever (30)
A = strong B = medium C = weak.
Turn to the left: Aggregate is lowered.
Turn to the right: Aggregate is raised.
Automats without own ground drive have furt-
her functions of adjustment of the brush
assembly at their disposal.
The horizontal incline of the brush assembly
can be changed via the turn lock (33).
The turn lock (48) for vertical adjustment is
located on of the left side of the automat below
the tank, between wheel and brush assembly
(fig. 11).
With the brush assembly correctly adjusted, to
obtain the maximum self-propulsive force of
the automat the brushing-image should look
similar to that depicted in fig. 12.
With a turn to the right the propulsive force
will become stronger.
With a turn to the left the propulsive force will
become feebler.

5.1.1 Gerätedüseneinstellung (Bild 13)
Über die Verstellung der Sterngriffschraube
(36) kann die Neigung der Gerätedüse einge-
stellt werden. Um besseren Bodenkontakt der
Sauglippen in der Mitte der Gerätedüse zu er-
halten, Sterngriffschraube (36) im Uhrzeiger-
sinn drehen. Für besseren Bodenkontakt an den
Enden der Saugdüse entgegen dem Uhrzeiger-
sinn drehen.
5.2 Rückwärtsfahren (nur bei Automaten
mit Fahrmotor) (Bild 10)
Kombinationsschalter (1) loslassen. Geräte-
düse (23) mit Kipphebel (45) anheben. Rück-
fahrtaste (11) drücken und Kombinations-
schalter (1) betätigen, wenn sich der Reini-
gungsautomat bewegt kann die Rückfahrtaste
(11) losgelassen werden. Der Reinigungsauto-
mat fährt mit verminderter, festeingestellter Ge-
schwindigkeit rückwärts.
5.3 Transport des Automaten ohne Benut-
zung des Fahrmotors (Bild 10)
Soll der Automat auf ebenen Strecken ohne
elektrische Versorgung transportiert werden,
dann schalten Sie den Automaten aus und stel-
len Sie den Wippschalter (42) auf 0. Die elek-
trische Fahrbremse ist ausgeschaltet und der
Automat kann geschoben oder gezogen wer-
den.
5.4 Transport des Automaten durch
schmale Türen (Bild 14)
Die Gerätedüse (23) lässt sich ohne Werkzeug
abnehmen. Saugschlauch (39) aus der Geräte-
düse (23) ziehen. Beide Schnellspannhebel (35)
anheben und in bequeme Öffnungsstellung
schwenken, dort absenken und durch Links-
drehung die Befestigung lösen. Gerätedüse
entfernen.
5.1.1 Fixed squeegee pressure
adjustment (drawing 13)
The pressure force function of the fixed squee-
gee on various ground conditions can be adju-
sted with the star grip (36). To increase the
pressure force turn star grip (36) clockwise.
For a better contact with the bottom rotate at
the ends of the aspiration nozzle counterclock-
wise.
5.2 Reverse movement (only automatic-
scrubber with traction motor) (fig. 10)
Release combination switch (1). Raise squee-
gee (23) with the rocker (45).
Press reverse button (11) and actuate combi-
nation switch (1), if the automatc scrubber
moves the reverse-driving key (11) may be
released. The automatic cleaner moves back-
wards with reduced, fixed speed, ravels back-
wards with reduced, fixed speed.
5.3 Transport of the automatic machine
without using the traction motor
(fig. 10)
When the automatic scrubber is to be trans-
ported on an even level without electrical
supply, switch off the automatic scrubber and
set the toggle switch (42) to 0. The electric
drive brake is switched off and the automatic
scrubber can be pushed or pulled.
5.4 Transport of the automatic scrubber
through a narrow doorway (fig. 14).
The squeegee (23) can be removed without
using a tool. Pull out the suction hose (39)
from the squeegee (23). Raise both quick
clamping levers (35) and put them in a
comfortable open position, then lower it and
release the lock by turning the lever to the left.
Remove squeegee.
