Setting the Blood Pressure Measurement Interval
Measurement is initiated automatically at timed intervals by pressing the “INTERVAL” switch.
Press the switch to display a value on the “INTERVAL” display sections.
INTERVAL Settings (minutes):
OFF, CON, 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180
When the interval is selected, cuff inflation will begin immediately after depressing the button.
After the measurement is completed, it will be repeated at the specified interval.
Consecutive measurements are started when “CON” is specified and the button is pressed.
Consecutive measurements are taken for a period of 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the measurement interval is
automatically set to 5 minutes.
For consecutive measurements, press the button again.
To interrupt the measurement, press the button during the measurement.
When consecutive measurements are specified, a rapid estimation of systolic blood pressure is displayed (“Quick
SYS Function”) as soon as it is determined, followed by measurement of diastolic blood pressure and the pulse
rate.
Note:
If an interval of 1 minute is selected, after 12 measurements, the monitor will automatically change
its interval measurement to 5 minutes.
Note:
In "CON" mode of operation, the value of systolic pressure may change to a new actual value after
the measurement cycle has been completed.
