Network Setting > SNMP
Use
Network Setting > Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP) for
network monitoring and control. The Cisco VC 220 supports SNMP version v2c
and traps. When you complete the configuration, click
Save
to save the settings;
otherwise click
Cancel
to discard the changes.

Enable SNMPv2c
—Select this option to enable SNMP.
•
Read/Write community
—Enter the names of Read/Write community
according to your network management system. The default is
private
.
•
Read only community
—Enter the names of Read only community
according to your network management system. The default is
public
.
•
Trap Receiver Community String
—Set up your network management
system to listen for traps (network management messages) with this string.
The string is the identifier the camera sends to a network management
system. For example “VC220-Warehouse.”
•
Trap Receiver IP Address
—The IP address of the network management
system.
