NON-SCHEDULED OR EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE TASKS MUST BE PERFORMED BY PERSONS
AUTHORISED AND TRAINED BY THE UNIT MANUFACTURER.
Skills required of an extraordinary maintenance electrical technician.
This is the person charged with non-scheduled maintenance of the unit’s electrical system. This individual
must have a certain level of technical training, as well as specific experience and knowledge of the unit
itself and of the content of the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
The non-scheduled maintenance technician is authorised to:
–
work on parts of the unit that are critical to safety;
–
replace any faulty or worn parts or components.
CAUTION! Any faulty components must be replaced with genuine and original spare parts.
7.3 PROBLEMS AND FAULTS
The most frequently encountered faults, as well as their possible causes and appropriate remedies are
listed below in the form of a table.
CAUTION! WHENEVER A DESCRIBED REMEDY IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO COMPLETELY ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM,
DO NOT SIMPLY PROCEED AS YOU SEE FIT BUT RATHER CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER TO OBTAIN
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROBLEM.
Carefully read through the “MAINTENANCE” chapter of this manual prior to commencing with any
maintenance task.
In the table below, the following two symbols are used to designate the OPERATOR and the
MANUFACTURER respectively:

more detailed information.
