5.4 CONNECTING THE UNIT TO THE ELECTRICITY GRID
Connecting the unit to the local electricity grid must be done in accordance with the information
reflected on the Machine Identification Plate and in accordance with the requirements of the current
regulations applicable in the Country in which the unit is to be used.
5.4.1 INTERVENTIONS
All interventions on the electrical system must be carried out exclusively by skilled and qualified persons.
Should the power cord appear to be damaged in any way, it should be replaced by the Manufacturer,
his service agent or, in any event, by a qualified person.
ONLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS ARE AUTHORISED TO OPEN THE ELECTRICAL BOX AND TO MAKE ANY
REPAIRS.
N.B.:
Kindly see the electrical wiring diagram for clarification regarding unit connections and other details.
Prior to connecting the unit to the main power grid, check that the cables and connections have not
been damaged in any way during assembly.
CAUTION! ELECTROCUTION HAZARD! THE TERMINAL BOARD INSIDE THE ELECTRICAL BOX REMAINS LIVE
EVEN WHEN THE MAIN SWITCH IS IN THE “0” POSITION.
