4. MOVING THE UNIT
4.1 GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION! When moving or lifting the unit, the designated workers must wear personal protective
equipment including gloves, safety boots and any other items as specified by the current regulations,
depending on the kind of task to be performed.
4.2 SHIPPING
The unit is broken down into four separate sections for shipping purposes: the unit body, the support
frame, the air duct and the product holding drum.
Upon receipt, kindly check to ensure that the parts have not been damaged in transit and that all the
parts indicated on the shipping list are indeed present and correct, including the Operation and
Maintenance Manual and any relative accessories.
4.3 STORAGE
In the event that the unit is not going to be put into service immediately but will be put into storage for
some time, it should be stored in a sheltered environment.
In particular, it is important to:
–
check that the shelf on which the unit will be resting is able to safely bear the unit’s weight.
–
Cover the unit with a plastic sheet so as to protect it from dust, humidity or anything else that could
prejudice its proper operation when it is eventually started up.
The Manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage to the unit that may occur after it has been
handed over to the courier for delivery.
