6. FUNCTIONS AND SETTINGS
Hereunder are shown the various functions of the Panning machine (a kind of copper kettle), with a
specific explanation of each individual function and the instructions required in order to operate the unit
in a proper and safe manner.

6.1 OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
1.
START.
Pressing this button (self locking) will start the unit. The drum will turn at the speed set via the selector knob

2.
STOP.
Pressing this button (self-locking) will stop the unit. The drum stops turning.
3.
EMERGENCY STOP
Pressing this button the power supply to the unit will be cut off immediately (electrical and mechanical
stoppage of all the unit components). The emergency stop button must be reset in order to reset the unit.
