2.4 VIBRATION
The Panning machine (a kind of copper kettle) unit is fitted with 4 suction-cup anti-vibration feet so as to
ensure that no vibration is transmitted to the working surface that could potentially:
A. prejudice the stability of the unit itself;
B. prejudice the accuracy and precision of any other equipment or machinery located in the immediate
vicinity;
C. directly or indirectly affect the health and wellbeing of the operator or those of anyone else that may
be in close proximity to the unit.
Any unusual vibration suggests the existence of some or other mechanical problem (such as loose
flanges or other moving parts, etc).
In this case the operator needs to follow the MAINTENANCE instructions contained in this manual. Should
the symptoms persist, kindly
shut the unit down the unit immediately
and contact the Manufacturer at the
contact address listed in the “NOTES” section of this manual
.
2.5 NOISE EMISSIONS
In this type of unit the normal noise level is negligible since the Panning machine does not normally make
a great deal of noise. It is nevertheless important to provide some additional information.
The unit has been designed and built is such a way that noise levels are reduced significantly at the
source. The factors that determine the workforce’s exposure to noise include the length of time in which
they are exposed, the features of the work area and the presence of other sources of noise in the vicinity
(i.e.: number of units, adjacent processes, etc). Furthermore, permissible noise levels may also vary
depending on the Country in which the unit is being utilised.
CAUTION!
CHANGING THE PRODUCT BEING PROCESSED, THE MATERIALS BEING USED OR THE OPERATING
CONDITIONS MAY HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE NOISE LEVELS.
Any unusual vibration suggests the existence of some or other mechanical problem (such as loose
flanges or other moving parts, etc).
In this case the operator needs to follow the MAINTENANCE instructions contained in this manual. Should
