LOADING THE CD CHANGER
To load one compact disc:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Press and release
LOAD
�

3. The numbered buttons ( 1
through 6 )
�
represent the
order of the disc loading slots.
Press and release the button
that corresponds with the
desired slot.
4. The system will display a
message instructing you to
load a disc.
Insert a disc part-way into the
slot, label side up. The player
will pull it in the rest of the
way.

To load two or more compact
discs:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Press and hold
LOAD
�
for
two seconds.
You will hear a beep.
3. The system will display a
message instructing you to
load a disc.
Insert a disc part-way into the
slot, label side up. The player
will pull it in the rest of the
way.
4. Once the disc is loaded, the
system will display another
message instructing you to
load the next disc.
Repeat this procedure to load
up to six discs in the player.
5. When you are done loading
discs, press
LOAD
�
to cancel
the loading function.
When a disc is inserted, CDP will
appear on the display.
As the disc loads,
FILECHECK (file-
check) will appear on the display.
A track number will appear on the
display when each track starts to
play.
Play/Pause
Press CD/AUX
�
to pause play-
back.
PAUSE (pause) will flash on the
display.
Press the button again to resume
normal play.
Note:
This feature is disabled when an
auxiliary device is connected to
the sound system.
