Automatic Climate Control
System (If equipped)
This automatic air conditioning
system controls the interior
temperature in your vehicle
automatically.
The desired temperature is
controlled by information from an
in-car sensor, sun sensor,
temperature sensor and the
engine coolant temperature.
CAUTION
If the temperature indicator
flashes five times when the
ignition is turned on, there is a
problem with the climate
control system.
Operate the climate control
system manually and have the
vehicle serviced as soon as
possible.
AUTOMATIC MODE
In the automatic mode, the system
will automatically control the
inside temperature, air delivery
mode and the fan speed to
achieve your set temperature as
quickly as possible.
Press AUTO to turn this feature
on. Press
OFF
to turn it off.
In the automatic mode, AUTO will
appear on the display.

Temperature Control
The left knob
�
controls the
temperature.
Rotate the knob clockwise to
increase or counterclockwise to
decrease the temperature.
You can choose from 18°C (64°F)
to 32°C (90°F). However, if you
choose 18°C (64°F) for maximum
cooling or 32°C (90°F) for
maximum heating, the system will
remain at the maximum setting
and will not automatically adjust
fan speed.
MANUAL MODE
Fan Speed Selector
Rotate the knob

to stop the
automatic mode and to manually
increase or decrease the amount of
airflow through the system.
Air Outlet Selector
Press MODE
�
repeatedly to
stop the automatic mode and to
manually select one of four modes
and control the direction of
airflow. The display shows the
selected mode.
This mode directs airflow
through the instrument
panel outlets.
The blending mode directs
airflow through both the
instrument panel outlets
and the floor outlets.
