DOORS
CAUTION
Unlocked doors can be danger-
ous.
• Passengers - especially chil-
dren - can easily open the
doors and fall out of a moving
vehicle if the doors are left
unlocked.
• Young children who get into
unlocked vehicles may be
unable to get out. A child
could be overcome by
extreme heat and could suffer
permanent injuries or even
death from heat stroke.
Always lock your vehicle
whenever you leave it.

• If the doors are unlocked,
your chances of being thrown
out of the vehicle in a crash
are increased. Wear your seat
belts properly and lock the
doors whenever you drive.
• Locking your doors when you
drive can help prevent
unwanted outsiders from
entering your vehicle when
you slow down or stop the
vehicle.
CAUTION
Do not leave children or pets in
a vehicle especially in hot
weather. They could be
overcome by extreme heat and
could suffer permanent injuries
or even death from heat stroke.

Do not leave children in the
vehicle with the ignition key.
They could operate the power
windows or other controls and
could even make the vehicle
move. A child or others could
be injured or even killed.
Children can be seriously
injured or killed if caught in the
path of a closing window.
Do not leave children
unattended in the vehicle.

NOTICE
Lock all doors and take the key
with you when you leave the
vehicle unattended.
NOTICE
In case there is noise when
opening or closing the doors, or
while driving, apply grease to
door check, latch, and hinge.
Manual Door Locks
From the outside, use your key to
lock or unlock the doors.
From the inside, use the manual
door lock to lock and unlock each
door individually.
Anti-lockout Feature
The driver's door lock button
cannot be pushed when the door
is open. This prevents locking the
driver's door when you leave the
key inside your car by mistake.
