3. Unlock the rear seat cushion
by pulling backward on the
release handle located on the
back of the cushion.
4. Lift and fold the seat up and
hold it to the headrest of the
front seat using the built-in
hook.
5. Store the safety belt and
buckles in the storage
compartment beneath the
floor mat.
CAUTION
Do not allow passengers to sit
on the folded seatbacks while
the vehicle is in motion.
Unrestrained luggage or
passengers on a folded seat-
back can be thrown within or
ejected from the vehicle in a
sudden stop or accident.

NOTICE
When the rear seat is folded
forward, store the rear safety
belt and buckles properly to
prevent damaging the safety
belt and buckle by careless
handling.
To return the seat to its original
position:
1. Release the hook from the
headrest of the front seat.
2. Lower the seat cushion back
to its original position. Make
sure it locks into place.
Make sure the rear safety belt
and buckles are removed from
storage.
NOTICE
Damage to the safety belt buck-
le or rear seat locking mecha-
nism can occur if the safety belt
and buckles are pinched under
the rear seat cushion.
Do not place the safety belt and
buckles on the floor under the
rear seat cushion when the rear
seat is set back to the sitting
position.
