The machine does not enter the Energy Saver mode in the following cases:
• If documents are stored in memory
• If a document or paper jam has occurred, the paper cassettes have run out of
paper, or if the toner cartridge has run out of toner
• If a document has been fed into the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder)
• If you set the machine to print an Activity Management report at a preset time
• If the machine is set to poll another machine within three minutes or less, or is
receiving a document by preset polling
NOTE
• While the machine is powering up, you can perform any operation.
• To put the machine into the Energy Saver mode manually, press
(Energy Saver).
Setting the Daily Timer
This section describes the procedure to set the time that the machine automatically
enters the Energy Saver mode for each day of the week.
NOTE
If the current date and time are not set correctly, the Daily Timer will not function correctly.
