Moving the Machine

 

The machine is heavy. Be sure to follow these general guidelines when lifting the 
machine to move it or to install the optional paper cassette.

• Moving the machine requires two people.

• When you lift the machine, remove the paper cassette from the machine, and 

firmly hold the front of the machine by the paper cassette slot, and lifting handles 
on both sides of the machine as shown in the illustration below.

• If you have the 500 sheet optional paper cassette installed, call your local 

authorized Canon dealer when moving the machine.
