Sending Faxes

Chapter 7

Dialling Methods

There are several ways of dialling the fax number(s) you want to send to. They are as 
follows:

•

Regular Dialling

Dial a fax number by using the numeric buttons, similar to dialling a telephone 
number.

•

OneTouch Speed Dialling

Dial a fax number by pressing the onetouch speed dialling button (01 to 15) 
assigned to the fax number. For details on registering and using onetouch speed 
dialling, see pp. 63, 614.

•

Coded Speed Dialling

Dial a fax number by pressing 

Coded Dial

 and entering the twodigit code 

(00 to 99) assigned to the fax number. For details on registering and using coded 
speed dialling, see pp. 67, 614.

•

Group Dialling

Send a document to a predefined group of fax numbers registered for speed 
dialling. For details on registering groups and using group dialling, see pp. 611, 
614.

•

Dialling with the Directory

Look up the other party’s name by using the directory function. For details on 
using the directory function, see p. 616.
