Registering One-Touch Speed Dialling
By registering a fax/telephone number under a onetouch speed dialling button, you
can simplify dialling of that number to the press of a single button.
When you register onetouch speed dialling, you will:
–
assign one of the 15 onetouch speed dialling buttons for the fax/telephone
number you want to register.
– register the fax/telephone number under that onetouch speed dialling button.
– register a name for the onetouch speed dialling button. This name appears in
speed dialling lists, in reports, and at the top of the recipient’s fax if you use
memory sending (
p. 75).
– set the transmission type for the fax number you have registered. You can set a
subaddress and/or password if the other party’s fax machine requires these
settings.
Follow this procedure to register onetouch speed dialling:

Press Data Registration .

Press OK twice.

Use or to select the onetouch speed
dialling button (

) under which you
want to register the fax/telephone number.
• If a onetouch speed dialling button has
already been registered, the number
registered under that button appears.
• If a group is already registered under a
onetouch speed dialling button,

appears.
