Wire List with User Notation
When the user notation list is programmed, the wire list can be entered and displayed using
connector/pin references. Shown below is the same Wire List program providing harness
connector user labels. The user notation list relates each tester point number to its corresponding
harness connector and pin.

The wire harness program now contains both the wire list and the cross reference list (user
labels). Shown below is a display of the same short as before but with the cross reference list
programmed:
Short PB1-6 to PB1-7
For build applications, the wire list would be rearranged to optimize the assembly process, with
the best assembly order determining the line number order of the wire list. Therefore, in the
example above, the first wire to be assembled would be PA1-1 to PB1-A, the second wire would
be PA1-2 to PB1-B, and so on.
