$POS
- specifies the column positions of each label when printing to a multi-column
label form. The POS label code requires the printer to have reverse line feed
capability as described above under the BACKLINE label code. The
numbers that follow the POS label code specify column positions of the
labels across the form. A semicolon is required at the end of the series of
numbers. For example, a three-column label form may have labels
positioned at 0, 25, and 50, and would be entered as:
$POS 0 25 50; or $POS 0,25,50;
LABEL EXAMPLES
Two label definition file examples are provided below. Example one is a label file using the
STATUS label code to create a single label file to be printed for either a passed or failed
condition. The second example is of a file that has separate labels for the pass and fail
conditions. Two sample labels are provided for each condition.
