17. Select ‘LF’ on the Transmitter.
CORRECT RESULT
: The Function Checker bar graph should show
an indication of 8/10 full scale and the LF icon should show
in the top left hand corner on the Function Checker display.
18. Select ‘8kHz’ on the Transmitter.
CORRECT RESULT
: The Function Checker bar graph should
show an indication of 8/10 full scale and the ‘8kHz’ icon should
show in the top left hand corner on the Function Checker display.
If all of the ‘Condition Checks’ (pages 11-12) and ‘Performance Checks’ (pages 58-65) have been completed
successfully then the Signal Generator is operating correctly.

WARNING
The MXL Locator that accompanies the MXT Transmitter being tested should have a matching
LF frequency (512Hz or 640Hz).
