4. Press the ‘M’ button on the Function Checker.
Repeat until ‘L1’ is displayed.
5. Press the ‘Power’ button on the Function Checker.
The ‘Power’ icon should be displayed.
6. Turn the Locator ON by pulling up on the ON/OFF trigger and
check the battery condition using the Battery Condition Indicator
in the bottom left hand corner of the display.
CORRECT RESULT
: The Locator should emit a clear audible battery
check tone for one second and the Battery Condition Indicator
should show at least 2 segments. Replace the batteries if necessary.
7. Select ‘Power’ mode on the Locator.
CORRECT RESULT
: Confirm that the ‘Power’ mode icon is showing
on the Locator display.
