6.6.2 Hinged Window with Auto-
matic Hinges
Opening:
³
If necessary, press the safety knob
(Fig. 44,3) down and hold it.
³
Turn catch lever (Fig. 43,3 or Fig. 44,4) ver-
tically or a quarter turn toward the centre of
the window.
³
Open the window until the required locking
position is reached; the telescopic rod
(Fig. 45,1) automatically locks in place.
The hinged window remains locked in the re-
quired position.
Closing:
³
Open the hinged window as wide as neces-
sary until the latch releases.
³
Close the hinged window.
³
If necessary, press the safety knob
(Fig. 44,3) down and hold it.
³
Turn catch lever (Fig. 43,3 or Fig. 44,4) hor-
izontally or a quarter turn toward the window
frame. The locking catch (Fig. 43,2) is on
the inner side of the window catch
(Fig. 43,1) or the fork (Fig. 44,2) on the
catch lever is completely on the inner side of
the window catch (Fig. 44,1).

Windows with engaging struts
must be opened completely in or-
der to release the lock. If the lock-
ing device is not released and the
window is closed nevertheless,
there is the danger of the window
being torn due to the massive
counter-pressure.

When opening the hinged win-
dows, ensure that there are no
torsional forces. Open and close
the hinged windows evenly.

If the catch lever is equipped with
a safety knob, press the safety
knob when operating the catch le-
ver.
