9.4 Cooker
9.4.1 Gas Cooker
The motorhome kitchen unit is fitted with a 3-burner gas cooker.
V
Never let gas escape unburned due to danger of explosion.
V
Before using the cooker make sure that there is sufficient ventilation. Open windows
or the skylight.
V
Do not use gas cooker or gas oven for heating.
V
Always protect your hands with cooking gloves or potholders when handling hot pots,
pans and similar items. There is a risk of injury.
V
During activation and operation of the gas cooker, no flammable objects must be
near the gas cooker.
V
The process of ignition must be visible from above and not be covered by cooking
pans placed on the cooker.
V
Always put up the flame protection when using the gas cooker.
V
The gas cooker lid is held closed by a spring. When closing there is danger of getting
injured.
V
Do not use the glass gas cooker lid as a hob.
V
Do not apply close the gas cooker lid while the gas cooker is in operation.
V
Do not apply pressure on the gas cooker lid when it is closed.
V
Do not place hot cooking pans on the gas cooker lid.
V
Keep the gas cooker lid open after cooking until the burners are cool. Otherwise the
glass plate could shatter.
V
Only use pots and pans whose diameter is appropriate for the gas cooker burners.
