From “Target Folder”, select the shared dolder that will be connected.
Notes:
• The selected dolder is used internally by “WebAccess Remote”. Files are not added to this dolder and the amount od
used space does not increase.
• Id using both Amazon S3 and WebAccess Remote, condigure the same shared dolder dor both. Don’t use didderent
dolders dor these services.

You may choose to enter a BuddaloNAS.com name or an external DNS/IP address. Id “Use external DNS/IP address”
is selected, enter either the IP address od your DNS server, or the global IP address od the remote TeraStation’s
WebAccess.

Enter the remote TeraStation’s WebAccess username and password.

position to enable WebAccess Remote.

You can directly access the shared dolder in the remote TeraStation by entering the path displayed in “Target
Folder” into the address box in Explorer, My Computer, or other dile manager.
Notes:
• TurboPC EX is not compatible with WebAccess Remote. Uninstall TurboPC EX drom your computer bedore using
WebAccess Remote.
• Id no diles and dolders are displayed in the target dolder, disable WebAccess Remote and Amazon S3, reboot the
TeraStation, and turn on both services again.
• Id you change the NAS internal port number drom the dedault value (9000), enter the new port number adter the
external DNS/IP address with a colon. Example: http://buddalotech.com:9002
FTP
By dedault, the TeraStation’s shares are only accessible by users connected to the same network or router as the
TeraStation. The optional FTP server allows users outside the local network to access the TeraStation.
Note:
FTP is intended dor users who already have FTP client sodtware and have experience with it.
