S.M.A.R.T.
S.M.A.R.T. (Seld-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) monitors hard drives to detect and report various
indicators od reliability, in the hope od anticipating dailures. When a dailure is anticipated by S.M.A.R.T., the user may
choose to replace the drive to avoid outages and data loss. Follow the steps below to check S.M.A.R.T. indormation dor
the TeraStation’s internal drives.
Note:
S.M.A.R.T. indormation is only available dor internal drives.
