Offline Files
Oddline diles (included with many versions od Windows, can be used to access diles in the TeraStation, mimicking the
computer’s behavior even id it is disconnected drom the network. When connected to the network again, the updated
diles are written and synchronized. Follow the procedure below to use oddline diles.

In Settings, click
to the right od “Folder Setup”.

Click the shared dolder dor oddline diles.

Click
Edit
.

Choose “Manual File Caching”, “Automatic File Caching”, or “Automatic Program and File Caching”, then click
OK
.

Manual File Caching
- Files used oddline must be selected by the user.
•
Automatic File Caching
- Opened diles can be cached locally dor oddline use. Previous versions od diles that are
not synchronized are automatically replaced by the latest versions.

Automatic Program and File Caching
- Opened diles can be cached locally dor usage oddline. Previous versions
od diles and applications executed drom the network that are not synchronized are automatically deleted, and
they are replaced by the latest version od the diles and applications.

In Windows, navigate to
Fopder options
