STG-CT STOP Signal Type when reaching the Target
SETUP CONFIG STP-CT
This function allows you to choose the type of signal that will be sent through the
STOP output when reaching the set Target.
The possible choices are:
Continuous signal (CONT)
4 Hz square wave form (SQUARE)
The electrical level of the signal (either high or low) depends on the
configuration chosen for the STP-NCo function.
The SQUARE option can be useful when the SMART terminal is connected to a
machine computer, as it gives the computer itself the possibility to distinguish
between a Target reached stop and a failure stop.

Once you have selected the STG-xx function from CONFIG menu, press to
have access to the function.
If necessary, press to select the desired option (CONT CONFIG or SQUARE
CONFIG) .
Press to confirm.
The display shows for a few seconds the messages
CONT WAIT and CONT PRG OK or
SQUARE WAIT and SQUARE PRG to indicate that the function has been
programmed correctly
Press once to return to the CONFIG menu, or twice to return to the Main
Menu.
