SMART 200 MTC
Programmable Parameters
The operation of SMART 200 MTC system is conditioned by several parameters
that can be classified as follows:
Parameters related to the Textile Machine Characteristics
LDRUM:
Length (
development
) of the drum
SIDE:
Possibility to subdivide the machine into 2 sides (
A and B
)
KANTIP:
Corrector factor to compensate the bobbin “slipping” effect
These parameters are normally defined during the system installation step and
(
unless exceptional cases
), they should not be changed.
Parameters that affect the sensor’s detection and signaling
characteristics
BK (on - off):
Possibility to either activate or de-activate the Yarn Broken/Missing
Control function
STP:
Stop output in case of failure
(
for further information please refer to the previous paragraph
“Interfacing Specification”
)
STG:
Stop output when reaching the Target
(
for further information please refer to the previous paragraph
“Interfacing Specification”
)
These parameters are normally defined during the system installation step and
(
unless exceptional cases
), they should not be changed.
Parameters related to the SMART 200 MTC system operation
RES:
Counters’ reset mode (
either Automatic or Manual
)
STE (on - off):
Possibility to temporarily interrupt the meter count, forcing to
ground the STOP signal (
from firmware version 4.0 only
)
KEY-ST:
Possibility to set a password for the access to configuration
parameters (
CONFIG menu
)
KEY-WK:
Possibility to set a password for the access to loading/unloading
functions of parameters associated with the article
(
WORK menu
)
CLOCK:
Printer Date and Time Reading/Setting and possibility to setup the
automatic printout of “Production Report” (i.e
. at the end of every
shift
)
TEST:
Sensor test, SMART-Sensors communication line test and sensor
firmware version test, with firmware version updating possibility.
