Operation
SMART 200 MTC -3.11 -
Operating Sequences
The SMART 200 MTC system allows you to carry out the following set of
functions.
Univocal identification of each sensor by means of an automatic numbering
procedure.
Programming, changing, checking and saving the measurement control
parameters associated with the various articles through a database capable of
managing up to 40 different articles; setting-up the “Target”, i.e. the number
of meters to count and relevant correction factors.

Monitoring the machine operation by signaling and storing the failures (if
any) detected by the sensors; count and displaying in real time the number of
meters wound for each machine position controlled by a IS3W.. sensor;
printing out the production report upon operator command or automatically
at predefined intervals.

Article loading/unloading (i.e. the settings related to the articles) into the
connected sensors and counter resetting from SMART terminal.

controlled by an IS3W.. sensor
The main menu of the system (P1) includes four items:
SETUP:

The following five operating sequences show how to activate the four items of the
main menu and how to choose the desired function within each item.
The following pages will describe in detail each task, providing all the necessary
information to correctly perform the tasks themselves.
