LDRUM - Drum Length Setup
SETUP
CONFIG
LDRUM
The LDRUM function allows you to setup the drum length (development), i.e. the
length of yarn that will be wound on the bobbin during every stroke.
The value may range between 50 mm and 2500 mm and it may be associated to all
the installed sensors, or you may want to assign different values to specific sensor
ranges.
Depending on the set value, the system will automatically calculate the number of
strokes needed to obtain the Target, according to the following formula:
Number of strokes = Target x 1,000
LDRUM
Example: if Target = 10,000 m and LDRUM = 500 mm, then
Number of strokes = 10,000 x 1,000 = 20,000
500
See the LDRUM Setup Procedure described on Chapter 4 for more details.
Once you have selected the LDRUM function from CONFIG menu, press
to
have access to the function
XX
indicates the sensor’s number
AAAA indicates the length
(development)
of drum in mm
L
A or B (
if the SIDE option is enabled
)
moves the cursor from XX field to AAAA field and vice versa (
if the
SIDE option is disabled
), or from XX field to L field to AAAA field
and vice versa (
if the SIDE option is enabled
)
3sec Switches from Side A to Side B and vice versa
increases the field pointed by the cursor
decreases the field pointed by the cursor
Once you have set the sensor’s number and the drum’s lenght, press
to
continue.
This screen allows you to either set the same value (
LDRUM
) for all the connected
sensors, or just for a given interval of sensors.
Press
to set the same value for all the sensors, or press
to choose the
desired interval of sensors on which to set the same LDRUM value.
