Learning Cycle
(LEARN)

During the Learning cycle
(Learn)
the system “detects” and stores the number of sensors
(nnnn)
with
yarn running.

At the end of the Learning cycle, the system automatically activates the Control phase and continuously
check that
(upon every PRX pulse)
the yarn runs regularly inside all the nnnn sensors stored during the
Learn phase. The nnnn number is shown on the Control screen.

Both Learn and Control phases start after a programmable delay time
(D_LEARN)
in order to allow the
machine reaching the rated speed.

To avoid evaluation mistakes (i.e. to consider a yarn running, while it is actually still), the Learn phase
uses a special BTSR algorithm that makes such phase extremely accurate.

In case of unstable sensor reading, an error message ERROR_L Dxxx B0n is displayed.
In this case, prior to repeat the Learn operation, it is advisable to check, and possibly change, the sensor
detection parameters, in particular the sensitivity.
