Operating Sequences
The
SMART 3000TW
system allows the following set of functions to be carried
out:
!
Programming the parameters that affect the system operation, through 5
interactive menus: P1 ÷ P4 and PX.
"
Activating a LEARN cycle, during which the number of yarns used by the
machine, will be stored
(and displayed)
.

Continuously monitoring the machine production, indicating the errors
detected with respect to the sample “learnt” during the learning cycle
(broken
or missing yarn, uncut yarn, etc.)
and stopping the machine when the detected
errors exceed the set tolerances.

Performing the sensor test and terminal-sensors communication line test, in
case of frequent failures.

Reading and eventually resetting the BROKE and UNCUT error counters.
When the system is turned on, after the initial diagnostic phase,
SMART 3000TW
,
immediately gets into monitoring phase
(CONTROL).

To access the setting/changing menus of system operation parameters press and

Since the primary function of
SMART 3000TW
is the continuous monitoring
of production, if you leave the Control condition to access a
programming/configuration menu and you keep the terminal inactive for 1
minute, without pressing any button, the system will automatically resume
the control condition (CONTROL nnnn displayed).
The following pages describe in details the various operating sequences concerning
the system programming and use.
