NUMBER DEVICES: Numbering and Organisation of IS3..
Devices Connected to the System
This screen starts the device numbering phase:
Press
to begin numbering the sensors connected to each individual Board.
Press
to number the sensors connected to Board 01.
Global Automatic Numbering
Set the number of sensors connected to Board 01.
Allowed values: [001 ÷ 240]
Press
to increase nnn
Press
to decrease nnn
When nnn corresponds to the number of sensors actually connected to the Board
01, press
to start the numbering sequence.
This screen indicates that the phase of automatic sensor numbering is starting:
nnn =
shows the total amount of sensors to be numbered
mmm
= shows the number of the first sensor
(and subsequently the next one)
to be
numbered.

Check that all the sensors connected to Board 01 have a BLINKING Green
LED which indicates “Sensor ready to be numbered”.
With a finger skim the “Touch Light” area of the sensor to which you wish to
assign the number shown by mmm and check that:
a)
The sensor LED changes from blinking green to red.
b)
The number mmm is increased by 1 unit.
Repeat the operation on all connected sensors.
Once the numbering procedure of sensors connected to Board 01 is completed, the
DEVICES BOARD 02 screen will appear and so on for all the connected Boards.
Press
to number the sensor operating as described above for Board 01.
When the numbering of sensors connected to the last Board is completed, the
system will automatically move to the NUMBER LAMPS function, in order to
allow the numbering of LAMP 485 devices

: This only occurs if the system is currently configured to operate with Bars
priority in menu P2 and only if the Bars are equipped with LAMP 485 devices.

If you want to operate with Bars priority and LAMP 485 devices, then you must
first program the Bars priority function with menu P2, and after return to menu
P1 to define the lamp sensors numbering.
