if the Broadband light still isn’t steady green, there may be a fault or interference

Internet light is red (and Broadband light is solid green)
Broadband is active, but your Fibre Hub can’t connect to it.

Restart your Fibre Hub by unplugging the power cable and plugging it in again.

If, after a couple of minutes, the Internet light is still red, check that your
Openreach modem is working (see ‘DSL light is steady green and LAN1 is green’
on page 26).

If the Internet light is still red, check broadband service status by calling
0800 169 0199.

We recommend that you install and run Desktop Help (see page 6) to help
you fix connection problems. When you’ve installed Desktop Help, you’ll see
the
icon on your desktop.

Open a web browser on your computer, type in
http://home
or
http://192.168.1.254
and check your PPPoE settings. They should be in the
format [email protected]. You may need to check the correct network
login username and password settings in your ‘welcome’ emails and letters.
(These were sent to you when you ordered your BT Business Total Broadband
Fibre service. If you can’t find them, call us on 0800 169 3809.)

Broadband light is flashing green slowly (light flashes roughly
every second)

Check that the Fibre cable is correctly inserted into your Fibre Hub.

Check that the other end of the Fibre cable is correctly inserted into the
LAN1
socket on the Openreach modem (see page 43).

Restart your Fibre Hub by unplugging the power cable and plugging it in again.
