The on/off switch is built into the circuit breaker which is provided to protect the battery, controller
and motor circuits in the Elevator carriage. It is unlikely that this circuit breaker will ever “trip” in
normal use, but if the Elevator should fail to operate, check the circuit breaker and reset it if
necessary. If the circuit breaker should trip, determine the cause and correct the situation.
The most likely cause of a tripped circuit breaker would be a foreign object jamming the rail or
gear rack or overloading the elevator by exceeding its rated load capacity.
A fuse has been provided to protect the battery charging circuit and the Call / Send electronics.
The Elevator is shipped with this fuse installed.
[ ] Turn “OFF” the unit using the “ON” / “OFF” switch on the back of the unit.
[ ] Disconnect the battery charger from the rail charge lead.
[ ] Remove carriage cover.
[ ] Determine and repair any short circuit which may have caused the fuse to blow.
