MIDSECTION

TILLER HANDLE SERVICE

Remove rear steering handle screw and washer.

Remove tiller handle assembly.

Disassembly

Loosen throttle friction control so there is no
restriction on grip.

IMPORTANT:

Do not back screw out com-

pletely. Nut is under spring tension.

Remove eight screws and bottom cover of tiller
handle.

Remove shift handle screw and shift handle.

Remove stop switch screws. Loosen start switch
nut.
