When the screw on surfaces of the motor components, especially
the screw on surface of the primary part, is made of a badly heat-
dissipating material (like plastics), it must be reckoned with a re‐
duced power data of the motor.
As a general rule, the heat dissipation must increase proportional
to size and length and thus the higher power loss of the motor, if
the same motor utilization must be reached.
Please observe a optimal heat dissipation possibility of the motor
components when dimensioning the machine . Only then, a pow‐
er loss of the motor via adjacent machine parts can be guaren‐
teed optimally.
The following details should help to estimate the reachable motor power data
in dependence of the thermal connection of the motor. The figured installation
modes can be selected and observed at motor-controller-dimensioning in In‐
draSize and at commissioning in IndraWorks.
