8. Select day of the week, if needed.

1. Switch on the display of the BMW display
key.

Activating the departure time
Functional requirement
If a departure time is to influence the switch-
ing on of the pre-conditioning, the respective
departure time must be activated first.

Activate the desired departure time.
Display
The icon on the automatic climate control
signals an activated departure time.
The icon on the automatic climate control
indicates the system is switched on.
Activating with BMW app
An appropriate BMW Connected app with re-
mote function can be used to switch on the
system either directly or via a preset departure
time.
