Sally Sue and Peggy Sue User Guide

NOTES:

Sally Sue and Peggy Sue require plate lids on sample plates. If a lid isn’t detected, a message will display in

the

Start Run Wizard

. Compass for Simple Western will then open the sample tray to allow you to put a

lid on the plate.

When you insert the sample plate, make sure it’s firmly seated and level on the cold block. When plates

aren’t level they can interfere with the movement of the sample tray.

Incubation Trays

Sally Sue and Peggy Sue use two incubator trays to perform the incubation steps in an assay protocol. Each
tray holds up to 48 capillaries.
