3.6.3 How to open the pack

MACHINE PACKED IN A WOODEN CRATE

Remove the crate. It is advisable to keep the original packing materials
which can be used to move the machine at a future date in full
compliance with the safety conditions.

ATTENTION

At least 2 persons are required for this operation.
The  crate  is  closed  with  nails.  Use  the  necessary  personal
protection  equipment  and  immediately  eliminate the  nails  as
they are removed.
Never  ever  leave  the  wooden  boards  unattended  with  nails
projecting from them.
Make sure that there are no bystanders near the crate when
it is opened.

The crate is formed by a wooden crate or cage and must be dismantled
in the following order:

✔

Remove the cover using a lever.

✔

Remove one of the two longer sides. While one person removes the

nails, another must hold the wall in place.

✔

Remove one of the two shorter sides. While one person removes the

nails, another must hold the wall in place.

✔

Prop up the second short side of the crate with a wooden plank.

✔

Remove the second long side. While one person removes the nails,

another must hold the wall in place.

✔

While one person supports the last short side, the other must remove

the prop.

✔

Remove the screws that hold the feet of the machine to the wooden

footboard.
