5.12.7 Monarch Codabar
Description
The Codabar Code was developed by Monarch Marking Systems in
1972. This is why it is also called "Monarch Code" and sometimes even
"Code NW7".
Owing to its features of the very highest security against the risk of
reading errors, this code is typically used in the medical-health sector to
identify and associate test tubes, analyses results and blood bags to
patients.
