8.2 Darkbox
8.2.1 Replacing the Air Filter
The air filter should either be cleaned or replaced, depending on the level of contamination.
Remove the black ventilator cover on the rear of the instrument and clean the filter (blow it out
or wash it) or replace it.
8.2.2 Replacing the Fuse
The mains fuses are located on the rear panel of the
NightOWL II
. The fuse holder and the
mains connection socket are one unit.
Proceed as follows
o
Pull the power cord.
o
Insert a screwdriver from below into the opening of the fuse
inset.
o
Pull out the fuse inset with the screwdriver like a drawer.
o
Replace the fuse depending on the line voltage.
o
Insert the fuse holder again until it clicks into place.

Use only fuses that match the value and the line voltage indicated
on the
device.
8.2.3 Setting the Door Sensor
In case the sensor on the door frame should be displaced so that there is no contact although
the door is closed, you can easily re-adjust the sensor as follows:
o
Open locking screw at the bottom of the sensor using a 1.5mm Allen key.
o
Using a thin tool (nail), push the sensor out so much that it protrudes by about 1
cm. Do
not
tighten the locking screw.
o
Carefully close the door and lock it so that the sensor is pushed through the door
into the correct final position.
o
Open door carefully again and tighten the locking screw.
