Preparation

cut elastic to length required
Sewing
™
oversew the elastic, adjusting the stitch width
to be slightly wider than the elastic

needle must not pierce the elastic

after sewing, adjust the gathers evenly
TIP
Secure the beginning and end of elastic
Sew a few straight stitches backwards and forwards
to secure the elastic.
