Motion sensor mode

(sensor in mode: ON / OFF)

Thank you for choosing a Mactronic product. Proper operation and ma-

intenance guarantee the product’s high durability and reliability. Ple-

ase read the operating manual and keep it for reference, because it

contains important information about safety and operation of the pro-

duct.
NOTICE

It is not recommended to use the flashlight for purposes other than

intended. The manufacturer explicitly voids the warranty if the flashli-

ght has been used for other than its intended purpose.
FLASHLIGHT OPERATION

INSTALLATION:

To install the Highline lamp on the handlebar, twist it to 90 deg, insert

into the bracket’s socket and twist until the two elements are clearly

locked. To remove the lamp, twist it to 90 deg in relation to the handle-

bars and slide out.

A bracket with an arm (ABF0166M) is available as an additional acces-

sory for installation of a lamp together with a bike GPS (Garmin, XOSS,

IGPSport, Magene, Meilan, Cycplus).

Please read the illustrated installation manual.

OPERATION

To switch the lamp off, press and keep depressed the switch on the top

of the housing for around 0.5 seconds.  The lamp will start working in

the last saved operating mode and light setting.
CHANGING THE OPERATING MODE - CONTINUOUS / FLASHING

To switch between the continuous and flashing modes, quickly press

the switch twice (while the lamp is on). Press the switch once to cycle

through the lighting settings for a selected mode. The lamp will switch

between modes every time the switch is pressed, as follows:

• For the continuous mode: LOW -> MEDIUM -> HIGH

• For the flashing mode: DAY FLASHING (4 flashes, followed by 2 fla-

shes - 600 lm) -> NIGHT FLASHING (pulsing ~ 200 lm).
CAUTION!

The lamp’s temperature sensor protects it from overheating. If the

temperature detected by the sensor is over > 65˚C, the lamp will auto-

matically switch from: HIGH to MEDIUM, reducing the emission of li-

ght, in order to save energy and reduce the temperature. Therefore, the

working time specified for the HIGH mode is calculated jointly, for this

particular mode.

SMART OR MANUAL OPERATION

To switch the lamp’s operating mode between SMART and MANUAL,

switch the lamp off. If the lamp is off, press and keep the switch de-

pressed for around 4 seconds. After the lamp’s main lamp is initiated,

it will be deactivated for 1 second and the colour of the LED placed in

the switch will change to indicate the operating mode:

• SMART – blue

• MANUAL – green

In the SMART mode the lamp, once activated, controls the operation

according to the motion sensors. If no vibrations are detected for 120

seconds, the lamp understands the bike is not in use and switched off.

If the lamp operating in the SMART mode is deactivated with the swi-

tch, it enters the stand-by mode: STAND-BY (for 1 hour). Throughout

that time, the LED in the switch will keep flashing in blue, every two

seconds, and the lamp will await a radio signal from the remote (the

remote is available separately - ABF0166P). If no signal is detected

during that time, the lamp’s stand-by mode will be deactivated.

The dedicated remote allows to easily change parameters, the stream

of light and the lamp’s operating mode, and to activate, for a moment,

the HIGH operating mode if a different operating mode is selected. In

the MANUAL mode, all lamp settings are configured manually and the

lamp cannot be activated with the remote (remote sold separately).
CHARGING

To recharge the lamp, connect the USB – USB-C cable to a source of

power rated at DC 5V/1A. Connect the cable’s second end, with the

USB-C plug, into the lamp’s socket hidden under a silicon cover. A red

LED in the lamp’s switch will start flashing to indicate that recharging

is under way. Once the battery is fully recharged, the lamp will indicate

it by changing the colour of the LED, according to the selected opera-

ting mode. For the SMART mode, the colour will change to blue and for

the MANUAL mode, it will change to green.
BATTERY STATUS CONTROL

When the lamp is off, press and release the switch quickly. The batte-

ry’s available capacity will be checked and signalled with LEDs in the

switch, in the following manner, depending on the saved operating

mode:

For SMART:

• Blue LED on: 100% - 30%

• Blue LED flashing: 29% - 10%

• Blue and red LEDs flashing: below 10%

For MANUAL:

• Green LED on: 100% - 30%

• Green LED flashing: 29% - 10%

• Green and red LEDs flashing: below 10%
SIGNALISATION OF A DISCHARGED BATTERY

The lamps features a discharged battery signalisation. If the lamp’s

control system detects that the battery is discharged to below 10%, the

main light will keep flashing 4 times every 30 seconds, until the battery

is completely discharged, which takes place when voltage drops below

2.8V. This voltage threshold protects the Li-Ion battery from deep di-

scharge.

CAUTION!
The lamp can be used in LOW and flashing light modes while it is being

recharged. No other functions can be operated at that time.
CAUTION!

Make sure only original spare parts designed for Mactronic® are used

for repairs. Using spare parts produced by other manufacturers may

affect the product’s quality and parameters. The rechargeable batte-

ries used in the product may be subject to recycling. As per WEEE, it is

forbidden to dispose of any batteries with household waste. Special

battery bins should be used to collect such batteries. To learn more

about recycling and other services contact the management of the lo-

cal waste disposal company.

Nehmen Sie die graphische Montageanweisung in Kenntnis.

BEDIENUNG

Lampe leuchtet). Um die Lichteinstellungen im gewünschten Modus

zu ändern, drücken Sie den Schalter. Die Lampe wird die Lichteinstel-

600 lm) -> NIGHT FLASHING (Pulsation ~ 200 lm).
HINWEIS!
