Selection switch partial
opening
If the selection switch partial opening is activated, the door moves to the partial opening position or
otherwise to the OPEN limit position.
If using an absolute value encoder, the height of the partial opening can be selected with P.244.
0: No intermediate stop position permitted, intermediate stop position is the same as door OPEN limit
position
1: Half door opening distance
2: 2/3 door opening distance
3: Intermediate stop position is programmed in dead-man mode

Selection switch auto-
matic reclosing
If the selection switch is activated, automatic closing is switched on. Once the stay-open time has
elapsed, the door automatically closes from the OPEN or partial opening limit position. For profiles
17.00 and 17.01, a new drive command is also needed to start the stay-open time if the selection
switch is activated. For profiles 17.02 to 17.05, the stay-open time is started if the selection switch is
activated.

Selction switch dead-man
If the selection switch is activated, the dead-man operating mode is set.
Maintained operation
Briefly pressing the button causes the door to move to the limit position when a drive command is is-
sued.
Dead-man
The door will only move whilst a travel button is pressed when a drive command is issued.

Smoke/heat ventilation

If the control unit is in maintained operation mode, the door moves into the P.251 position regardless
of the status and the position when the control unit is activated. No drive commands can be ex-
ecuted. All safety devices such as safety edges or light barriers are active. Information I.220 appears.
