The control unit can be equipped with a 1-channel or 4-channel
radio remote control system. If the radio modules are used, al-
ways observe the manufacturer-specific instructions.
1-channel radio receiver
• FM 40.685 MHz

The radio receivers comply with the Radio Equipment Directive

If retrofitting a radio remote control system, you first need to in-
stall a receiver PCB on the PCB of the master control unit. To
do so, it is necessary to disconnect the entire door control unit
from the main power supply.
Plug the radio receiver PCB into the RADIO slot on the top right
of the control unit as shown in the adjacent diagram. Make sure
that the PCB is properly aligned!
Arrange the antenna of the receiver in the control unit so that it
points vertically downwards.

Function
1-channel
As with the single push-button, the push button commands are executed one after the other in the sequence OPEN-STOP-
CLOSE-STOP. If there is an error message on the door control unit, the push button commands are executed one after the other in
the sequence OPEN-STOP-OPEN.
4-channel
The 4-channel radio remote control has the following functions:
Button 1
: As with the single push-button, the push button commands are executed one after the other in the sequence OPEN-
STOP-CLOSE-STOP. If there is an error message on the door control unit, the push button commands are executed one after the
other in the sequence OPEN-STOP-OPEN.
Button 2
: This is identical in function to the OPEN button.
Button 3
: This is identical in function to the CLOSE button. In the event of a fault, the button is ignored.
Button 4
: This is identical in function to the STOP button.
Caution
If a radio system is used, the person operating the door must have full view of the door and
its surroundings while the door is moving and ensure that he/she is clear of all hazardous
areas.
